My showcase project is “A Clouded Lens: Analyzing Literacy Narratives from Rising Cairn” in which I find my work, both behind the scenes and on the pages you read, exemplifies most of the learning outcomes of ENG 110. In the piece, I utilize literacy narratives from the Rising Cairn online article archive on the website Medium, as well as using scholarly articles as a lens in order to extract important ideas and create discussions between the sources. I believe the writing project does a good job at encapsulating my ability to write analytical literature using two or more sources and extracting important key ideas from each, while also combining them with my own.
